New System Access - online banking ID and passwordWill my online banking ID and password change?
Yes. You were sent a new online banking ID and temporary password via U.S. Mail. You will need to use this online banking ID and temporary password to reactivate your Online Banking account; at which time you will be prompted to change your password.
Can I change my password?
Yes. After you have logged into the Online Banking system on or after Monday, August 10, 2009, using your online banking ID and temporary password, you will be automatically prompted to change your password. Passwords must be 6 - 8 characters in length and must be alphanumeric. You may want to consider changing your password periodically for your security. This can be done by selecting "options" on the Online Banking navigation bar and completing the information requested to change your password.
Can I change my online banking ID?
Yes. You can create a new online banking ID to replace the 12-digit online banking ID that you have been assigned. Your online banking ID must begin with a letter and may contain numbers. Your online banking ID cannot contain special characters. Select "options" on the online banking navigation bar and complete the information requested to change your online banking ID.
What is the security process?
For enhanced system security, you will be prompted to establish personalized settings by selecting an image and three security questions.
How do I sign on to my Business Online Banking account the first time?
The first time you logon, go to our website at www.bankofsantabarbara.com and click the link to access our new Business Online Banking system (please note that there will only be one logon button for Personal and Business Online Banking) and follow these steps to access your Business Online Banking account and establish your single sign-on:
- Enter your temporary online banking ID, which was sent to you via US Mail.
- Enter your temporary password, which was sent to you via US Mail.
- You will be prompted to review the Business Online Banking Services Agreement. Once you have read the agreement, select “I Agree” and click the accept button.
- You will now be prompted to change your temporary password.
- Enter your temporary password, which was sent to you via US Mail.
- Enter a new password that is alphanumeric and 6 to 8 characters in length, repeat and click continue.
Please note that you must provide this new password, along with the 12-digit Online Banking ID from step one, to all other users.
- Enter your Cash Management ID, which is the same as your current User ID on the former Cash Management system.
- Please note you should only enter the first 10 characters of your existing User ID.
- You should enter your User ID in all caps.
- Enter your temporary Cash Management password, which was sent to you via US Mail, and click login.
- Please note that the temporary Cash Management password is case sensitive.
- You will now be prompted to change your Cash Management password.
- Enter your temporary Cash Management password, which was sent to you via US Mail.
- Please note that this password is case sensitive.
- Enter a new password that is alphanumeric and 6 to 8 characters in length, repeat and click login.
- For enhanced system security, you will be prompted to establish personalized settings:
- Select an image
- Establish three security questions
- You will be automatically prompted to create your single sign-on:
- Enter a new user name of your choice.
- User names must begin with a letter and may contain numbers.
- User names cannot contain special characters or spaces.
- Enter a new password of your choice that is alphanumeric and 6 to 8 characters in length, repeat and click login.
- You are ready to begin banking! All future logons will only require your newly created single sign-on user name and password.
Administrator Settings/User AccessHow do I verify other users' settings on the new Business Online Banking system?
Due to our security measures to protect your privacy, we cannot access your account set-up to review or make changes to any of your settings. Therefore, as the administrator of your Business Online Banking account, you will need to verify any other users' settings. You can access the settings by clicking on the Business Online Banking tab in the new Business Online Banking account and selecting the User option. After you verify the settings, you will need to provide users with their new online banking ID and password.
